N0LLA x Partioaitta
Tvijälp, Espoo
On the peaceful island of Tvijälp in Espoo’s inner archipelago, you’ll find a Nolla cabin created in collaboration with Partioaitta. This unique cabin offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of nature and encourages exploration of the nearby outdoors.
One side of the cabin’s roof is a full mirror, reflecting the surrounding landscape into the space and creating a one-of-a-kind opportunity to capture moments where you are, quite literally, outdoors and at home. The mirrored design blends minimalist architecture with the beauty of nature, turning every moment into an experience.
The cabin is equipped with high-quality outdoor gear from Partioaitta, including binoculars for birdwatching, nature books for quiet moments, a headlamp and lantern for evening ambience, as well as a gas stove and sitting pads to complete your stay. Everything is considered and kept simple – just as it should be at Nolla.
The departure pier is only a 10-minute metro ride from Helsinki city center, and the boat trip to the island takes just 20 minutes.
You can book the Partioaitta Nolla via the Tvijälp booking calendar by selecting cabin number 2. Pets are also welcome in this cabin.

Access to the Island
Transport to the island is provided by a 1950s wooden boat, which can accommodate up to 8 passengers at a time. Your booking confirmation serves as your boat ticket. The boat departs daily at 16:30 and returns at 16:50.
The shared departure point is Keilaranta Marina in Espoo’s Keilaniemi, at Kalanokankuja, 02150 Espoo. We recommend arriving by public transport – the Keilaniemi Metro Station is about a 400-meter walk from the marina. If you prefer, you can also arrive by your own boat; in this case, please select a boat spot when making your reservation.
You may arrive at the cabin from 17:00 onwards. Check-out is no later than 16:05, to allow our staff time to prepare the cabin for the next guests. Please also arrive at the pier in good time before the departure of the shared boat.
About
The price includes accommodation for two guests. Nolla is designed primarily for two adults, but the cabin is also equipped for two children. If your group includes 3–4 people, please add extra guests to your booking so we can ensure there is enough space on the boat for everyone.
The cabin has two beds with duvets and pillows. The beds can be joined to form a larger “sister bed,” allowing up to four people to sleep side by side. The cabin is equipped with a power outlet (depending on weather conditions), a stove, heating, basic cooking utensils, and recyclable tableware. There is no refrigerator.
Camping at Nolla is simple – you only need to bring drinking water, snacks, and bed linen or a sleeping bag. Linen can also be rented, in which case it will be ready in the cabin.
Activities and services on the island
Tvijälp offers the feeling of a true deserted island just a stone’s throw from the city. The island features smooth cliffs, ancient forests, glacial boulders, and a small sandy beach – its diverse nature is always a surprise.
During your stay, you can rent a rowboat, SUP board, or kayak to explore the calm waters of the inner archipelago. Life jackets are included in all rentals. As an additional service, a one-hour archipelago cruise is available on a charming 1950s wooden boat.
The island also has a covered barbecue area with a gas grill and composting toilets. Open fires are strictly prohibited.
Practical Information
The island has no running water, services, or staff, so please bring sufficient water and provisions. The boat runs only once a day, so you will remain on the island for the duration of your stay. The island’s nature is precious – please stick to paths and cliffs, respect nesting birds, and leave the cabin clean for the next guests.
Nolla is not a hotel but a complete nature experience where a spirit of adventure is your most important equipment. Detailed instructions will be sent by email prior to your trip.
